Welcome to the latest Astral Tech update!
Since the last blog our development and product team have been hard at work focusing on some key improvements to the Astral X platform.
One area of activity has zoomed in on extracting higher levels of performance – think about page loading times and search. This is driven by a recognition that the way people look for things has changed – our users intuitively search rather than ‘clicking’ on tabs and menus.
To drive the performance improvements and realise the UX benefits, we’ve improved database and query efficiency. The result being that on search alone the speed of response is now nearly 20 times quicker!
Again, driven by client feedback another area of focus is Single Sign-On (SSO). Our users are looking for both the speed and security benefits of SSO. This ultimately means that at the start of the working day, users can log-on to their company provided system and will be automatically logged into the Astral X platform. Saving time and making the log-in journey much more efficient.
Both SSO and performance enhancements are being rolled out over the coming weeks and months.
